I claim to love pop culture, and frankly I am appalled I haven’t done a purely pop-culture focused post on this blog yet. Who am I? Well today is the day and I have a theory. I have a few–one I need to explore is how Hillsong Church where Chris Pratt and Biebs and Hails patronize is the next scientology. If you have any leads on that, lemme know. But for today, I just want to focus on my theory that Florida colleges pop out some fantastic reality stars and in particular Florida State University. Let’s examine, shall we?More
I actually wasn’t going to get a Beautylish Lucky Bag this year, but clearly my willpower lacks and my consumerism roars right after Christmas and I couldn’t resist. But also it just feels like a tradition at this point, and I love a tradition. But to shake it up this year, I also did an unboxing video showing you exactly what I got! It’s no secret I love Canada. It’s pretty obvious from this post on Montreal. So it was only natural for me to want to spend my 30th birthday in Quebec City. I was only there a few days, so I’m no expert—-but I can confidently say I found some places I highly recommend. As usual this will pretty much revolve around places to eat. What’s new??More

I literally checked it out because it said she was Mindy Kaling’s assistant back in the day, but I came out the other end with a new wine chiller, decanter, and a “natural wine” subscription. Not to mention a new obsession with Marissa, who also owns pomeranians and writes for Bon Appetit’s wine section. And because natural wine has become bigger and bigger in the past year, tons of restaurants are making natural wine part of–if not the star of– their wine program. So today I wanna use this space to talk a little bit about my new found love. More
Oh man, this last trip to NYC was a doozy. I posted on my insta story that after leaving NYC I always feel like I got hit by a garbage truck and crawled over by rats. I stand by this, but it doesn’t stop me from loving it! This trip in particular I found some places I definitely feel the need to share. More
Sun Valley, Idaho is a great place for making potato-based jokes, but it’s also that sort of jaw-dropping beautiful that leaves a lasting impression. I’ll admit, I spent a lot of time in the warmth of my Airbnb, but I was still able to pick up some tips about Sun Valley along the way during a Thursday-Sunday trip.
