Y’all. I went to LA because I was able to be a seatfiller for the Grammys and let me tell you–it was a WILD ride. But did you think for a second I was gonna stop pretending to be a Bon Appetit Editor while I was there? If so, you’d be incorrect! Read on for some of my tips in the City of Angels, including my review of Lisa Vanderpump’s babies.
MoreIt’s no secret I love Canada. It’s pretty obvious from this post on Montreal. So it was only natural for me to want to spend my 30th birthday in Quebec City. I was only there a few days, so I’m no expert—-but I can confidently say I found some places I highly recommend. As usual this will pretty much revolve around places to eat. What’s new??
MoreOh man, this last trip to NYC was a doozy. I posted on my insta story that after leaving NYC I always feel like I got hit by a garbage truck and crawled over by rats. I stand by this, but it doesn’t stop me from loving it! This trip in particular I found some places I definitely feel the need to share. More
Sun Valley, Idaho is a great place for making potato-based jokes, but it’s also that sort of jaw-dropping beautiful that leaves a lasting impression. I’ll admit, I spent a lot of time in the warmth of my Airbnb, but I was still able to pick up some tips about Sun Valley along the way during a Thursday-Sunday trip.
I was lucky enough to ring in my 29th year of life in the Big Easy. This was my second time going to New Orleans, but the first time was such a whirldwind that I barely left Bourbon St (do not recommend doing this). This time I got to enjoy some of the city’s best food and sights. I even got my tarot cards read for the first time ever! Read on for my favorite food/sight picks.
Since I was hauling myself over to the west coast for a Tuesday night concert, I figured I might as well make a week of it, so after my trip to the Bay Area I hopped on a short flight to Seattle and met my sister who had flown in from FL. It was our first time in the city, but I think we did it pretty well. In today’s post I rank our eats, drinks, and activities from my fave to least fave (but honestly, we pretty much loved everything).
Before a whirlwind trip of going to LA back in 2011 for the VMAs (which included an upcloseandpersonal rendition of “One Thing” by One Direction), I had never been to California. But somehow in the past couple of years, I’ve been back to the West Coast a few times and it has a special place in my heart. As if it hasn’t become clear, I will travel for a boy band member, and this time it was for Harry Styles. He didn’t disappoint, and neither did the food/drink in the Bay Area-Berkeley/ Oakland,/SF and a day-trip to nearby Sonoma.
[A note: It’s beyond sadness and comprehension what’s going on in Northern California with the fires. It feels so superficial to be writing this fluffy post about food/drink right now, but it’s such a beautiful and resilient area and I know it’ll come through this even stronger.]
Who doesn’t love going to the spa? I honestly think it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures and while I haven’t been to too many, Eau Spa in Palm Beach (technically Manalapan, FL) is one of the most beaut ones I’ve been to. Read on for some of my thoughts on the general vibe and the HydraFacial treatment I got during my last visit. More
