lucky number 13, babbyyyy!
Euphoria: Confession: I am in that category of people who started watching Game of Thrones and didn’t finish and I was honestly luke-warm about Big Little Lies, so maybe I’m not the best person to give TV advice, but i am SO INTO Euphoria on HBO. If you listen to my podcast, you know what’s good! The fashion is the best, the actresses are magnifique and the cinematography is WOW. It’s definitely graphic, but if you can get past that, it’s beautifully done. I have a full blown Hunter Schafer and Barbie Ferreira obsession now (and was already obsessed with Zendaya and Maude Apatow) and I think you will too after watching.
KKW Skin Perfect Body Shimmer in Pearl: Since my wee days, I have never met a body shimmer I don’t like. Remember those roll on glitter balls that smelled like melted jolly ranches with a dash of chemical and regret? Those were the dream. But, I’m so glad that as a society we have graduated to a a comfier/less sticky, subtler sheen. My most recent body shimmer fave is from Mrs. West herself. This was my first experience buying from the KKW line, and I don’t love that shipping cost about $8, but it was worth it. This smells delightful, goes on smooth, and gives that “your skin, but better” look that we are all going for. If you try the other colors, let me know your thoughts ’cause I may need to collect ’em all.
Aesop Reverence Soap: In NYC, you know you are at a legit restaurant if they have Aesop soap in the bathroom. Looking at you, Via Carota! I don’t know why this correlation is true, but it is. So in my mind, Aesop soap=cute, fun, ~curated~ house! Is it absurd to spend this much on soap? Yes, it is. Does it make me happy every time I use it? Yes, it does. The Resurrection “flavor” is the standard, but I love Reverence that has little pumice bits and gets all the grimy makeup off my hands after I apply it in the morning.
