3 Products You NEED for Dry Skin

Hi, my name is Bailey and I have lizard skin. For real though, my face is prone to flakes, scaliness, dry patches–you get the gist. And that’s in FL where the humidity is 99% and I swear I drink so much freaking water. But it doesn’t matter. My skin is just dry and it doesn’t help that I use Tretinoin Cream (generic Retin-A) and acids pretty frequently to keep my adult acne at bay. So today I’m letting you in on 3 little secrets you need if your face is drier than a desert.
Elta MD SPF 45: It might seem counter intuitive that this benefits my dry skin, because it’s oil free. And it’s not particularly meant for moisturizing, but this is the one facial SPF I’ve found that doesn’t make my skin freak out. It smooths on, wears great under make-up and we all need our daily dose of SPF to keep that skin young like a baby.
Biossance 100% Squalane Oil: I swear this oil is a miracle in a bottle. I’ve been into facial oils for a long time so I’ve tried ’em all-Argan, Maracuja, Marula–you name it, I’ve tried it. As of now, this is my favorite. And to save you the trouble, I’ve tried other brands that are cheaper, but I swear this one is the best. I lather it on at night and in the morning sometimes if my skin is feeling super thirsty. Also I snagged my last bottle for $19 around Christmas, so get on their email list and watch out for a good deal.
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Remover Cleansing Balm: Tired of your cleansers robbing your skin of that little amount of moisture they have? This will change. your. life. It also has a cute spatula to boot. Just rub it on your dry/make-up filled face and it breaks that down. A quick rinse and you are good to go. It is especially good when used in your double cleanse/triple cleanse process, combined with Bioderma, which I talked about here and still use to this day.
There ya have it, and if you prefer videos I made short little one detailing these products too!
curiously yours,
